Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche is an aromatic fougere aroma for men. drakkar noir was released in 1982. Drakkar noir is classified as a sharp, spicy, lavender, amber aroma. The nose behind this scent is Pierre Wargnye. Leading notes are rosemary, basil, artemisia, lavender, lemon verbena, bergamot and lemon; middle notes are coriander, cinnamon, carnation, juniper and jasmine; base notes are leather, sandalwood, fir, amber, patchouli, oakmoss, vetiver and cedar.
LaRoche only designed about a dozen aromas. Drakkar Noir was his most widely used men’s scent, while Fidji was his most widely used female’s fragrance.
